Myrtle Warbler (Setophaga coronata) - I have been fascinated watching the progress of this bird since he was first spotted by Jimmy Crawford on the 20th of February 2024. - No one expected it to stay long, so now at 54 days he has not only set new UK record for the longest staying Myrtle Warbler on record, but has now moulted into his summer plumage. - So yesterday I decided to capture some footage as a thanks to Jimmy and his neighbours, for allowing myself and the many hundreds of other visitors who have travelled just to see this wonder. - Visitors are still traveling from all over the UK just to come and catch a glance of this rare bird for themselves. - - As ever thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy seeing him as much as I do. - Duration: 6 minutes 36 seconds - - Music by Bensound License code: 1PJBZELBHF9EF3EU License code: JATJ6LV8ABB7FEIO
