A strong and bitterly cold northerly wind made me glad of all my extra layers, but still nibbled (if not gnawed) at my fingers. However, with limited time and with what little light there was fading fast, I braved the elements to attempt to photograph some unfamiliar (to me) white-winged gulls on the sea.
