This was a very small part of a flock of Shelduck that we counted as part of a WeBS survey at Frodsham on the Mersey estuary. The South side of the Mersey estuary is an amazing place for birds as there is no public access at all. Thousands of Shelduck spend their time on the estuary moulting along with the largest number of Canada geese in the UK
