Montagu's Harrier Watchpoint in Lincolnshire

The RSPB are offering the public a unique opportunity to observe a pair of the UK's rarest breeding bird of prey, the Montagu's Harrier, nesting on a saltmarsh near Boston in Lincolnshire.

The RSPB Montagu's Harrier view-point is at College Farm, Frampton Marsh, Boston, Lincolnshire TF357365. The Watchpoint is signed from the A16 Kirton roundabout.

The view-point is manned by RSPB staff and local volunteers. Visitors to the free viewpoint will be able to observe the birds through high powered telescopes.

RSPB wardens have kept the location of this nest a secret until now to protect the nest from the illegal attentions of egg collectors.

The view-point will run from Saturday 26 June to Tuesday 31 August, open weekdays 9 am to 7 pm and weekends 8 am to 8 pm.

The viewpoint car park is accessed through College Farm, there is a £2 per vehicle parking fee. Facilities include a RSPB Information Trailer, View-point with telescopes and RSPB staff and volunteers and Portaloo.
