This bird landed on our yacht while crossing the Channel from Guernsey to Dartmouth. The wind was blowing from the east Force 4 (i.e. from Alderney or Frace). It stayed with us for about 3 hours and flew off about mid-Channel in a south-easterly direction. Sometimes it flew into the cabin and other times it wandered around the cockpit floor. It became quite tame and would happily perch on our hands. My attempts at identification suggest that it is a Warbler (Garden, Reed or Cetti's?) but would appreciate advice from the experts.
