The shoreline from the town of Leysdown southwards, including the Leysdown Country Park and the beach at Shellness. Main habitats include shoreline, mudflats, open rough grassland, coastal bushes and farmland.

Take main road east through Sheppey to reach Leysdown. To the south of the town you can stop anywhere suitable and explore any interesting habitats.Access
Entire area has open public access, except for the hamlet at Shellness, where access is behind the hamlet. On no circumstances walk on the seawall behind Shellness hamlet.Parking

Toilets at Leysdown.Key Areas / Routes
