Site Details

A surprisingly large lake, given that this is limestone country. The lake is natural, though extended artificially.

Two miles north of Malham village, which is signposted from the A65 between Skipton and Settle.

Access

By public rights-of-way from car parks.

Parking

Car parks at SD895658 and SD881671; no unauthorised vehicular access to the Field Study Centre by car.

Any time.

Facilities

Hide to the west of the Field Study Centre (access arrangements unknown).
