Part of the Newborough Warren NNR (q.v.), the estuary contains an extensive area of mudflats which extend from the estuary of the Braint river to Abermenai Point.

Follow the A4080 through Brynsiencyn and Dwyran, then turn off at the roundabout just before reaching Newborough. Follow either of the two minor roads off this roundabout to reach car parks.Did you know that you can submit photographs to be included in this sites image gallery?
