Site Details

Denhall Old Quay at Little Neston is a grassy area affording a good view of the Dee marshes. It also has a few trees and bushes which hold passerines. It is situated next to the Harp Inn which overlooks the marsh.

Directions

Neston lies on the B5134 to the west of the A540. From Neston take the minor road south for Burton (signposted Ness Gardens); after half a mile turn right (west) at a mini-roundabout at a modern church onto Marshlands Road. Follow road to end. Turn left onto Quayside when the marsh is reached. Denhall Old Quay is 300 metres on the right at the end of the public road.

Parking

Good parking on the road or adjacent to the quay.

Facilities

Harp Inn 50 metres to the north of Denhall Old Quay.
