On the eastern side of Smerwick Harbour, Murreagh is another site worth checking for waders. At high tide, many of the waders gather to roost at the north end of the beach at Q383062, affording very close views. Nearby fields have hosted Cattle Egret in the past.Birding Sites in the Murreagh Area
